City In Crisis?

Apparently Hughes is facing an uphill struggle to keep all of his players happy as they are getting increasingly frustrated with his attitude towards them and the attitude shown towards Robinho. The players believe there is one rule for Robinho and another one for them.

The News Of The World have quoted a City Source saying this:

"The players are furious Robinho swans around doing basically what he wants — and the boss lets him get away with it.

"He thinks he`s untouchable and Hughes hasn`t done anything to show that he`s not. Many of the players think he doesn`t dig in for the team, that he`s injured too often and is picking and choosing his games."

When I read this from the News Of The World, I just laughed basically. Every time a club seems to be in trouble the media play the Crisis card. Mark Hughes has enough pressure as it is without more being thrown upon him.

It would be interesting to see if this is true though, especially because we know for a fact Hamann and Ball made a stand a month back when they did not warm up when asked.
I guess we will see the state of affairs this lunchtime.

The hacks are having a field day at our expense. The only way to answer them is out on the park, but these repeated dressing room stories are giving cause for concern.

A definite worry JB if the dressing room has been lost, that is usually curtains for the Manager.
