'If It's Football, It's Vital'

No Barriers Unlike The Official Man City Site

Official Statement - We at Vital Manchester City can post what ever we like, so long as it's not liable, unlike the official Man City site.

This is not a dig at anyone; however, we are not sanitised like some I could mention. We are entering a new phase whereby we are the richest club in the world, but the players are performing as though they are on a kick-about for the local 'Derby & Joan' recreational side.

We will publish anything Blue fans think City fans should read, whether you like it or not, however, as editor, I would prefer to have you on side.

I keep hearing in the media that we are the richest club in the world, but this title is putting unfair pressure on everybody at the club. just because the clubs owners are super rich doesn't mean the club is! I don't think they have transfered their entire bank balances into City's coffers! How does anyone know how much they are prepared to spend on their hobby?

True enough G. AND clubs are raising their game against us.

I stand by my article!

True, Ghost of 76, but Man City invites the pressure on when fan sites like this one make statements to the effect of 'they are the future of English football'. Doesn't look to great of a claim now does it?

The title is rightly putting pressure on everybody at the club. It is not unfair at all. Over the last two seasons we've spent a hell of a lot of money - Sven spent plenty and we spent even more this summer. I keep hearing we were only richest club for one day but the fact remains we spent nearly 90 million was it this summer? We're not progressing. First 4 months under Sven - brilliant. Everything since has been awful. They're under pressure not just because of the money but because we've spent well over 100 million on a pub side.

Ghost of 76, Even here from the Arab commentators, Said "The richest club lose", The richest club are in Low table", OK, I want ask them the new owners how much time get before the period transfers close ?! They only get one day & In this short time They succeeded to bring Player of the best players in the world, If they had more time they was bought many good players.

I agree the stance. All city fans are entitled to their opinions. I also agree with city 81, adug had only one day in ownership and bought robinho. They bidded for torres and berbatov aswell. The "rich" tag is affecting the players big time. The pressure and fear of being replaced is taking its toll. I wouldnt feel any sorrow to see most of the first team replaced in the summer, even if we are relegated. Successful teams dont have room for sentiment. It doesnt help when hughes keeps saying hes looking to spend spend spend after every defaet. He should rely on his coaching skills and organise a well drilled, solid, attacking team. Adug should buy ambromovichs football advisors and start making city not look like a joke.

We may have plenty of money to spend but at the moment we would not look like a good move to a lot of players. I can't see how we can attract the likes of player we are being linked with when we look like a side that would struggle in a pub league. At this rate even Santa Cruz will be having second thoughts.
