Defoe Anyone?

Defoe Anyone?

Google language translator

Reports surfacing today have indicated that Mark Hughes is ready to fire an incredible bid in the direction of Portsmouth who needs money fast. Jemaine Defoe is already a target for his former club Spurs and Aston Villa but Manchester City look set to out bid them with what ever it takes.

The bid if you believe the papers is around £16 million pounds which is a tad steep but is surely worth the money if Jo`s transfer value is anything to go by.

Manchester City are also being continually linked with Bellamy and now his team mate Parker. Parker would be welcomed with open arms for me because he is someone who impresses me nearly every time I see him. Where would he fit? Who knows, but its better to have backup like Parker than Fernandes.

personally... I don't like him (possibly becuase getting him meant selling benji!) - he is amazing when he is in form - up with the likes of robinho (yes, really!) - however when out of form, he sulks, moans, doesn't pass, and can't finish. Unfortunatly, he spends most of his time out of form, as when he IS out of form, it takes a massive stroke of luck for him to get his confidence back. Anyway... why would you want him? (your welcome to have him though) when you have so many strikers as it is, and so much money?! (oh, and the rumours going round are saying 24 million, not 16!). Sorry for the long disjointed post...

no way will he go for £24m, I don't think he'll go for £16m to be honest. I thought we (Villa) missed a trick last Jan not bidding for him when he was 'cheap' as we were still in touching distance of 4th (Liverpool) at the time. We are also being linked with him again now, personally .... sod knows why I'm saying this, you guys aren't interested! LOL .... I'd go for a wow player but wouldn't be upset if Defoe did come, or Crouch for that matter. I;d break the bank for Owen and take the risk on his injury record, basically only because I'm not paying the money out, if I was the one with the money, I'm not sure I'd touch him with a barge poll !
