New Years Eve In Manchester

Google language translator

Manchester will see its first New Year's Eve celebrations since the millennium with more than 80,000 revellers expected to descend on the city.

Partygoers in the city centre will be treated to a fireworks spectacular, with a 10-minute display launched from the roof of the Arndale at midnight, however anyone going should wrap up warm as temperatures are expected to dip as low as -2 degrees.

Arndale

Pubs and clubs have reported swift sales of tickets with many staying open until the early hours.

What will you be doing at midnight?

Tell us what you're planning for the midnight celebrations and then on New Years Day let us know how you got on.

Up late, out with the old and in with the new. Just escaped from the kitchen, preparing pheasants for the family get-together later... yummy. All the best to all Vital members! And to Tudor -- just get a glass of brandy down you, that'll sort you out!
Sindbad
On the red as we speak Sinbad.
