Maybe he is looking for reasurances from Hughes that he is wanted. Hughes wont want to sell him, he needs him. Our squad is too small to be challenging in 3 competitions. If he goes it means we have to sign yet another player- in January thats easily said than done, especially if its a player to the same standard as Elano.

Everyone wants regular football and Elano thrives on that, but the in out situation must have got to him when Gelson was preferred, would get to me if that happened.

I am writing this from the post-Forest "pit of despair." Elano did not show the skill, passion or commitment today. He has been marginalised by Hughes and Bowen and I fear he really is on his way.
