Theo Walcott Alert

Google language translator

Manchester City is thought to be monitoring the situation surrounding the current position of Arsenal striker, Theo Walcott.

The England international's current pay deal, worth 20,000 a week runs out in 2010, and with no sign of any new deal being put on the table, the 19-year-old may well see what offers, if any come his way.

Clubs who are thought to be interested in prizing the teenage sensation way from the Emirates include City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Walcott is currently valued at 20million.

I read this morning that he could be got for 400,000, surely that cant be right.
Buzz Lightyear
not totally convinced he would be what City needs at the moment....he hasnt done a hell of a lot up to yet...except once for England.....jury still out for me on this one....
lincolnblue
Jury is out but at least he will be wanting to prove himself... more than can be said of half our current squad...

not sure Wenger would consider letting him go! a non-runner this one for me!
merlin
He would be useful, Sparky has been playing SWP in the middle recently and using Vassell, wide right, who would you pick Walcott or Vassell to play that position?
Buzz Lightyear
Why would anyone in their right mind play SWP in the middle and not on the wing.... Walcot would be out of his mind to consider city at the moment. Hes still in champions leauge and FA cup. Im really not optimistic about the transfer window. All players were linked with are all from fellow relegation candidates. All of them (cruz, bellamy, parker) are in poor form. Cruz has scored 3 times.... jo has scored 3times. Cruz has been injured lately, but his ratio doesnt justify 20million. Hes a one season wonder. Sky sports shown bellamys goal scoring record throughout his career an it was poor to say the least. Almost 13 goals in two season at west ham. Parker isnt even in the england squad, no one ever raves of is performances like they do of bullard for instance. So how can these players improve city? They will need time to settle in, do we have time. Portsmouth, wigan, stoke will be fired up for city and our record against the bottom teams is poor. Can we really climb up the table....under the "leadership" of Mark Hughes. I dont think we will. kaka, villa, messi, even theo wont consider city.
enzo city
You have more chance of kicking the Queen in the head than getting Theo.
Sue_afc
Forgot to add.....nice fans, *****e manager - wouldnt trust Mark Hughes as far as I could throw him ;)
Sue_afc
SWP played much better in the middle than on the wing for Chelsea. Just an insight.
The_Legend_Of_Zola
this is great for readin, i though we were bad been linked to everyone, yer after every tom dick and harry, whos next, messi, neways just a matter of time hughes is gonna get sacked
123spurs
If anyone would know about sacked managers, it would be a Spurs fan. Wasn't Jol going to take you to the next level? No, sorry Ramos.Oh wait... No it's Harry.
The_Legend_Of_Zola
Buy him and Podolski and scrap the plans for Rocky Santa Claus and Creaky Bellendy!
Sindbad
looks like yer manager is next mr scolairi
123spurs
Id take scolari over hughes anyday. SWP behind a striker is logical sense. In the heart of midfield... watch his massacre against utd, courtesy of fletcher and carick. SWP only played once a month at chelsea anyway.
enzo city
"Bellendy" lmao!!!
