What Midfield?

Finnish international Tuomas Haapala looks like he has not got a future at City after he was allowed to play for Leicester reserves this week.

With a really easy game this weekend against Chelsea and with midfield cover extremely stretched, Haapala must have done soemthing really bad not to be in the travelling party.

With Sun suspended, injuries to Sinclair, Reyna and Sibierski, knocks picked up in the West Ham game by Barton and Ireland, the City midfield could be paper thin if some of the injuries aren't sorted quickly.

Surprising therefore that Haapala hasn't been given a chance. I must admit I've not seen him play in the reserves, but he must have impressed sufficiently for Pearce to offer him a 6 month contract and he is an international player - it's very puzzling.

Has anyone seen this lad play and should he have been given his chance before seemingly being cast adrift?
