I want The Ben Haim Out Of Here

Google language translator

Former Chelsea and now Manchester City defender Tal Ben Haim wants to leave the Eastlands club and urges Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp to come and get me.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Israeli international has instructed his agent to begin negotiations with the south London club after City suggested he could leave during the current January transfer window.

With Manchester City looking to strengthen in the transfer window, the centre-back looks surplus to requirements at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Ben Haim moved to City from Chelsea in July 2008 for a fee in the region of £5million, but after making just 15 appearances for Mark Hughes side, the 26-year-old is already set to leave the club after failing to impress.

Spurs are thought to be on the verge of offering City £4.5 million for his services.

don't want him, you can keep him !!!!!!!!

I actually thought he would be a good signing at the time. But in fairness, none of our centre backs have been on form this year. I wish onuoha was given more chances. A lil bird tells me - city are talking to lazio to buy zarate for 30million euros. With elano going the other way. Adriano has also been offered to city at a cut down price after arriving to training drink recently.

Not sure whether Ben Haim would be a good signing for anyone at the moment but one thing is for sure, Tottenham have never been, and never will be a South London club! City aren't from Trafford, or Salford, or bloody Liverpool for that matter. If you are going to rant, please get your facts right.

He's been the biggest pile of sh*** City have had for a while and our otherwise quite consitent defence of the past couple of seasons has been disrupted by his arrival. get Dunne and Richards playing well back together and stop Richards from floating up front and make sure we keep Onuoha for back up as he fits in so well. I don't think we need to buy many players as there arn't many available at the moment unless we get totally ripped off (like that matters!!! - but on principle). We could do with a holding midfielder to partner Kompany and I would say a partner for Jo as thats what hes used to. With Wagner Love as his partner at CSKA he got 44 goals in 77 games I don't think he's suddenly turned to crap. Bearing in mind Bojinov should be back soon and hopefully maybe Petrov I think we need a couple of good squad players for cover. My thoughts are to try get rid of the dead wood all of those mentioned previously but most importantly I think we need to change our system and formation to 4-4-2. I can't understand why we played 1 up front against a team 4th from bottom a division below us at home. Just a quick apology, I've been reading vital man city for a couple of months and have only just joined and this is my first post so have got a lot off my chest and mixed a lot of posts together on this one as I'm so frustrated/angry about the loss to Forest - bring back (sir) Joe Royle!!!
