I want The Ben Haim Out Of Here

Former Chelsea and now Manchester City defender Tal Ben Haim wants to leave the Eastlands club and urges Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp to come and get me.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Israeli international has instructed his agent to begin negotiations with the south London club after City suggested he could leave during the current January transfer window.

With Manchester City looking to strengthen in the transfer window, the centre-back looks surplus to requirements at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Ben Haim moved to City from Chelsea in July 2008 for a fee in the region of £5million, but after making just 15 appearances for Mark Hughes side, the 26-year-old is already set to leave the club after failing to impress.

Spurs are thought to be on the verge of offering City £4.5 million for his services.

I actually thought he would be a good signing at the time. But in fairness, none of our centre backs have been on form this year. I wish onuoha was given more chances. A lil bird tells me - city are talking to lazio to buy zarate for 30million euros. With elano going the other way. Adriano has also been offered to city at a cut down price after arriving to training drink recently.

Not sure whether Ben Haim would be a good signing for anyone at the moment but one thing is for sure, Tottenham have never been, and never will be a South London club! City aren't from Trafford, or Salford, or bloody Liverpool for that matter. If you are going to rant, please get your facts right.
