No One Will Leave Man City - Well Not Yet

Google language translator

Manchester City manager Mark Hughes has admitted he has received 'tentative enquiries' about some of his players but is adamant he will not let anyone leave the club without first signing a replacement.

Sparky told the media...

'We've had tentative enquiries, no offers or bids. I'm not really in a position to allow players to go before we get players in given the amount of players we have unavailable at the moment. I'd much prefer to get players in rather than letting players go out first.'

Hughes said that he could send several of City's younger players out on loan in an attempt for them to gain first-team experience.

'We'll look at that because I think it's important that certain players need to be tested and we will need to see if they can deal with senior football on a regular basis,' he added.

'So we will be looking to possibly get some of the younger players out to see how they cope.'

'You have to take them on an individual basis because some players would suit a different type of club and it's about matching the player's ability and their style to the correct club, not just sending them out hoping that they are going to do well. There has to be a little bit of thought behind it.'

Makes sense all the others sold the players and then found out they couldn't get a replacement, have we done wrong in getting a manager with common sense?

You only have to look at the "walking wounded" list to see we cannot afford to let anyone go ... yet
Doody
we almost have more players injured than fit at the moment....so how can it even be discussed about letting anyone go until replacements have been brought in........
