City reach Cup Final - no, honestly!

Great news from Eastlands tonight as City U18s overcame stern opposition from 'the Toon army' to go through to the final of the Youth Cup.

Leading 2-3 from the first leg, City drew 1-1 this evening to go through 4 - 3 on aggregate with Daniel Sturridge netting for the Blues after 15 mins.

City now face Liverpool in the final next month, which is scheduled to be televised.

City last won this competition 20 years ago, so fingers crossed this side can emulate the class of 1986... well done lads !
