Feel Good Factor Rising As Bojinov Fights Back

Google language translator

Mark Hughes has revealed that City's 'Raging Bulgar' Valeri Bojinov is nearing a return to full training...

Should City striker Valeri Bojinov return to full fitness and first team action next month, what a booster that would be for City's beleaguered manager and a City faithful who have already forged a great rapour with the combative striker.

The 22 year old has astonished medical staff with his determination to fight back from two terrible injuries which were sustained inside 12 months (and two club takeovers while we're at it). The latter of which was a ruptured achilles cruelly snapping on the opening day of the season at Villa.

For the lad to be where he is now is some going considering the seriousness of that injury:

'Boji is working with fitness coaches. He's out on the training pitches every day but he's not with the rest of the group because he is not quite there.

"We're pleased with the way he has come back, he's very strong around the injury. His cardiovascular work is down because he has missed so much training, so we'll try to improve that part of him.

'We are hopeful that in the next two or three weeks he will be able to start in group sessions, and that we can get him back in February.'

This brilliant and timely news could give Hughes the new striker he has been searching and bidding for all month. The bonus being that The Boj is a hungry young striker with a big engine and points to prove, unlike some of the journeymen Hughes has repeatedly bid for.

Blackburn and West Ham might not yet get their big Santa Cruz and Bellamy pay days.

I have been salivating on the thoughts of having him playing once again. Even though we have not seen much of him one can't be anything but excited about having a powerhouse up front.
Doody
He is what we have been lacking up front.......I will be glad to see him back.....
