This was always going to be controversial but Craig Bellamy has signed for City on a four year deal from The Hammers...

The much travelled 29 year old was bought for an undisclosed fee but the result of a fourth bid for his services is thought to be in the region of £14 million. Of course that is seriously steep considering he will be 30 this year and cannot be described as prolific.

I have to say I am one of the minority of spurs fans who is dissapointed that he wont be coming to WHL, but I have to say I dont understand where he fits in to the City Blueprint.. I thought your main priority should have been Roque santa Cruz or similar (although you may still get him) but I agree the signings of the likes of CB will surely inhibit the progress of the likes of Sturridge and Michael Johnson, which would be a shame for the youngsters at the club.

Good luck with him guys, as a Hammer I have been disappointed with his attitude. We stuck with him through injury, he gives us 4 or 5 decent games, then pushes for one last pay day. 14 million is good business for us.
