But this moment could prove to be the one that galvanises City's squad and fans into coming together and moving on with points to prove. Any squad member who isn't up for the cause can walk away.
Time to close ranks Blues and time to focus on getting right behind our team.

I have been one of his fiercest critics down the years and remain so, but I'm asking every Blue reading this article to get behind the bloke and give him a clean slate. He came across on MCFCTV.COM last night as a man with a mission and ready to repay the faith put in him by City's management team.
