Growing Sick Of The Arab Owners

Growing Sick Of The Arab Owners

Google language translator

Boxing legend and Blues supporter, Ricky 'The Hitman' Hatton has grown sick of the Arab owners and says since the clubs multi-million pound takeover, it's still the same old City.

Hatton (30) told the Daily Mail...

'At the minute, I feel like giving them the money back. Since the money came in, the fans have had these huge expectations and it's all gone a little bit t*** up.'

Following on from the collapse of the Kaka deal the Stockport born boxer added...

'After Kaka, there's (Barcelona's) Messi and Torres - although I don't think he'll leave Liverpool.'

'But you can't attract the best players in the world if you're sixth-bottom of the Premier League. So far, it's the worst we've done in the League for several seasons.'

'I know it takes time with all the new players but it's the same old Man City and that's very frustrating.'

Hatton finished off by saying...

'The problem is that sometimes we look good enough to win the Premier League and sometimes we look like we belong in the Blue Square North.'

You can't blame the owners and their money Ricky they did buy a "superstar" in the last window. The winter window is always difficult, players in top teams with chances at cups and medals etc are not going to give that up. They have bought some of what we need in this window so far ie de Jong and Bridges, I won't go down the Bellamy road again!! What you need Ricky is a bit more patience like the media and those that are influenced by it you expect instant results and all the "superstars" to flock to the money .... it ain't going to happen. We need to get the basic right first and start that steady climb up the table which will then show everybody where we are going.

We need to get behind the club not wear down the foundations. We are blessed with the security of the new owners and I cant imagine what would have happened if Thaksin hadn't managed to offload the club to them before he went AWOL.

I can't agree with him there at all. I think he's just not been paying enough attention to what's going on. Apart from the fact he's not accurate would he rather have pearce back?

I think he has taken one too many punches. Was he slurring his speech when he gave this interview. Thats it Ricky. Like the press need another knife to twist into us. We could be in administration now or certainly relegated without first Shinawatra and then the Arabs. Yet we can all dream of a wonderful future and for once have the finances to realise our plans. If he wants to vent his frustrations and criticise City or the owners he should make up a nome de plume and do it on this forum, not to the gutter press who wish the Club nothing but bad. Who does he support again?.

Already £40m spent and more to come, some fans are never satisfied. I think Mr Hatton should explain himself or he may find that the hospitality at City may just get a little frosty like the weather.
