The Press Are Against Us (Man City)

The tabloid and broadsheets are treating Manchester City FC like second class Citizens, but why?

I can produce evidence (links) to highlight the fact, however, if you have something to show me that I've not gone completely paranoid, please feel free.

The following poll asks...

Are City being victimised following the ADUG takeover?

Agreed dannybhoy46 but i'm receiving emails from well known public celebrities wanting more from Vital Man City. This poll / article allows City fans the opportunity to voice their opinion.

I care what the press say Dannybhoy46, If we had done anything like match fixing as in the Serie A then I would accept it, but to take the side of the Italians against a british side who only crime was to try and bring the best footballers to the premier, this week with the exception of Martin Samuel, the british press and media, Sky in particular have not covered themselves in glory, more like shot themselves in the foot, instead oif praising City for the attempt to get kaka, they chose to ridicule it. The Daily Telegraph published an absolute disgraceful article attacking the City fans to what end I have no idea.

They are all just jumping on the bandwagon, that is getting at City in anyway they can......they are all just like sheep......and I bet they are all wishing and dreaming that we will get relegated this season for the sort of headlines that they could write about that..... why are they not headlining/slagging off, some of the other teams with the news items that are currently happening....ie Liverpool, with Gerrard now going to crown court charged with affray, fighting etc.......and Plymouth, with YET ANOTHER of their players getting done for drink driving.....thats just two off the top of my head..... .....

I agree Buzz. That Henderson Torygraph article really got under my skin. Not many clubs fans would be generalised in the article's introduction as only being able to remember two lines of a song!

I have a few good pals, that have been Chelsea fans for years and they have told me the very same thing happened to them. They would have tended to be a little like us,in that a lot of people would have had them as their second team to look out for. They tell me it only stopped in the press as soon as they became champions..lets hope it stops for us sooner rather than later then lol

Of course they are against us and printing lies.. does it have any effect? Well as you know I live in Oz and yesterday at our local bowls club, not a hot bed of football fans I heard someone shout ""it is another Kakagate your just like Man City"" this was over a deal that fell through with the committee.

Paranoid eh forever****ed? Maybe you should haul your glory hunting backside over to our side of the fence and see how you like it. What has been printed about City in the past few weeks is tantamount to a character assasination of my club, with some hacks even having a pop at the fans FFS! I guess you must be used to your bully-boy of a manager manipulating those members of the press that aren't rags and getting his arse shined by the legions of red apologists in the press.
