Man City Fans Counting Down The Hours

Monday 2 February 2009, at 1700 hours GMT the transfer window closes.

With many Blues expecting another couple of so-called major signings, who do you think we can realistically attract between now and then.

Was hoping this transfer window was going to be exciting, and it was - for the wrong reasons. Would like another central defender and a proven target man to come in (Given looks done and dusted), but will be very glad when this window closes, not least of all because I've done no work!

I'm starting to turn my attention to the exit door! There are a couple of faces we could do with offloading, but also Academy stars we need to hold on to.

I wonder what the final day of the window will bring this time.......can City surprise eveyone....yet again...???

i think the exit door is a priority now. need rid of vassell, ben haim and ball....maybe concentrate of getting a top class defender in and what about an out and out left winger for when robinho goes throug the middle. Does anyone remember the fc twente winger Elia, he scored the first goal against us. I think he would be a good addition to our squad. Thoughts????

I agree with fcb I would like to see one more defender then slam the door and lets get on with playing football. We can reassess our needs as we go along then buy in summer when buying is easier.
Doody
Deejayvu if we go out and buy a left winger then what happens when Petrov is fit? We end up with an unhappy player and the academy players get pushed further down the lne. Agree with you and JB that a little housekeeping is now in order but NOT at the expense of academy players.
