'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bruce Leaps Aboard The Get City Bandwaggon

Google language translator

Wigan boss Steve Bruce has waded into the Anti-Manchester City campaign with a scathing attack on The Blues over the departure of Wilson Palacios to Spurs, no less...

The reasons for the ex rag's rant are all a bit complex and in dramatic contrast to his 'nudge, nudge, wink, wink' demeanour when quizzed about Palacios leaving The Pie Tasters after their 1-0 defeat at Eastlands earlier this month.

To cut a tiresome but amusing story that will only serve to enhance our growing sige mentality short...

Bruce accuses City of doing a deal with Honest 'Arry Redknapp whereby City would let Spurs sign Palacios if Spurs would let City sign Craig Bellamy.

'They used the boy as a weapon and used our club as a vehicle to get Bellamy.

'I have to say Manchester City's behaviour was absolutely disgusting. If they had not come in a week last Friday and unsettled the boy, he would have signed a contract for us.

'He was wobbling and wasn't sure about going to London. We had offered him a contract and he was on the verge of signing that contract. Then Manchester City ring him and it's a different ball game. They took the piss out of us, to be honest. They have shown a lack of respect for this football club and the player himself.'

Good grief.

What a doofus. He obviously believes the media hype that we struck an agreement, what crap. Shows that City are a big attraction these days among premier league circles

Took the *****? And we beat them with 10 men! Ah yes, it's Mr Loyalty giving it large. Presumably he wanted us to sign Palacios so Wigan could bump up the price. And he's lost Heskey who tonight scored for Villa. Not the best of times for Brucie what with us about to take their place in the top 10.

utter nonsense.......whatever next.......we let Manure have Berbatov and they let us have Robinho.....
