Robinho Arrested And Released On Bail

Robinho Arrested And Released On Bail

Google language translator

West Yorkshire Police said a man had been arrested on Tuesday in connection with an alleged incident on 14 January.

It's understood that City's record signing met police as part of a 'criminal investigation' into an alleged attack at a nightclub in Leeds.

Robinho's spokesman said: 'Robinho strenuously denies any allegation of wrongdoing or criminality and is happy to co-operate with the police if further required.'

Following City's torrid treatment at the hands of the newspaper hacks this past fortnight this is the last thing Mark Hughes and his management team need as they prepare a revamped City side for the crucial clash against Newcastle at Eastlands tonight.

Putting my loyalty to the blues aside, I feel for Robinho in this situation, Just as I felt for Van persie, Ronaldo and Jonny Evans when similar allegations were made against them in the past. This kind of thing is disgusting and I hope that when Robinho is cleared, they throw the book at the "student" making the allegations. Does anyone know what happen to the women who made alleagtions against the three other players named above???

It is difficult to speculate on the veracity in these matters. A rape case is very serious and would not normally be a subject to which bail would be granted.Especially given that Robinho took himself off to Brazil last week. However a lot of allegation have been made against premier footballers before and found to have no susbstance, but without knowing what the exact allegation is the press as JB says will have a field day on this one.

If you have nothing to do 'eltosso' go write on your own clubs page if you have one. Ihope this is untrue and Robinho scores a hat trick tonight and Barton gets sent off.

Well I am well connected in this neck of the woods. I have been informed that the reason bail was granted is that the police believe there is no substance to the allegations. It is alleged that Robbie and Micah were involved in a sexual act, from which the allegations have come from. The allegations have been/are due to be dropped, the story will be sold as a kiss and tell and Robinho flew back to Brazil to save his marraige as his wife found about it and left England last week. This is what I have been led to believe anyway.
