Toon And City Given Summit Meeting Today

Google language translator

The Irish Times reports that City and Newcastle's hierarchy will meet at SportCity today to discuss the potential transfer of 'keeper Shay Given...

City have had a number of cash bids of varying reported amounts rejected and Mike Ashley, Dennis Wise and co are said to be holding out for more money or a player push cash exchange.

It will be interesting to see whom sweary Joe 'Kinnell selects in The Barcodes goal tonight.

If Ashley needs the money, he wont risk Given being played,If Given not coming then F'kinear will be within his right to select SG.

I hope he isnt playing then......and we will score more against them too...

Ashley is a greedy fat slob. How anyone can castigate City for ruining football when this clown is on the scene is beyond me. Much as I'd like to see Given at MCFC, if Ashley is doing a "Blackburn" over the player we should look to plan B. Let him miss this opportunity to get his sweaty palms on our cash and leave him to sell his club at a massive loss.

As I have said on another posting this is beginning to look like the RSC saga. Maybe we should walk away from both and show the managers we won't be messed around. Teach them that greed does not pay.
