Should Sparky Take A Leaf Out Of The Book Of Pulis

Google language translator

Manchester City boss Mark Hughes and Stoke City manager Tony Pulis talk in front of the Sky TV cameras, following the Potters 1-0 home win.

Can I ask that you watch Sparky's interview followed by Mr Pulis. I am no expert on body language but I do know a little. Hughes is expectedly frustrated while Pulis is on cloud nine.

One day, wouldn't it be warming to see City's boss stood in front of the press and share with us Blues his delight on a great performance, and dare I say it, victory.

Pulis has a limited budget, his resources are probably stretched and his main aim in life is to keep Stoke in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Hughes looks flat, tired and ready to give up the fight.

Perhaps Hughes should take a leaf out of the book of Pulis?

There are things that Pulis is very good at, likewise Hughes. Pulis makes an awful lot out of his squad... Hughes doesn't. I would actually like to see City groom some speciality throw-in takers. Why the hull not?
