Manchester City's summer signing Tal Ben-Haim has joined Sunderland on a loan deal that finishes at the end of the season.

I wish Ben-Haim well and hope that he can re-discover the form that he had when he was at Bolton.

Wish him well? More like wish Sunderland and his new team-mates well. He's been named as THE player that complained to Gary Cook about MH, so if he's that disruptive then we're well rid. He's not a terrible defender, but he was error prone and short of confidence, not something we need at the moment. Good luck, hope that you do well enogh at Sunderland for them to want to buy you in the summer, because we'd rather you didn't come back.

He was probably promised game time until hughes realised he was so utterly useless. good luck to him though, hopefully sunderland can improve him.

The big lummocks had nothing to offer City. Bad buy for us and we need to sell and replace him, not loan him out. Let's just hope we don't get any injuries to Richards or Zabaleta...

Injuries or suspensions to Zab or Micah are both covered, I bet Kompany could play rb at a push, and Onuoha. We still have berti I think. Ben-Haim was signed because Hughes was not sure that Dunney was staying and he needed a CB quickly. Thats why he signed two TBH and Berti. Also Dunney waa suspended at the start of the season and Hughes didn't know what he had, but knew that we were shipping goals and still are.

One of the worst centre halfs I've seen at City, and that's saying something.

Could be something for the off season that JB, a manchester City all time worst XI. I am trying to think of anyone who comes close. Alan Kernagan I didn't rate, but all the others did a reasonable job.except Berti who has to be in there.

Well if he finds some sort of form at least we may get a half descent return when we sell him in summer.
