King Kevin Caught On Camera

Google language translator

Former Manchester City manager Kevin Keegan was banned from driving for six months earlier today after he was caught speeding.

BBC news online said...

Keegan, 57, was caught doing 36mph in a 30mph zone on the A69 between Carlisle and Newcastle on 27 August last year - days before quitting Newcastle United.

A letter from his wife was read out at Carlisle Magistrates' Court saying "his head was in turmoil after a meeting at Newcastle United". Keegan, who was not in court, was also ordered to pay £800 costs.

Under the totting up procedure he now has 12 points on his licence and was given an automatic ban.

Anyone receiving driving licence penalty points have them on their licence for a full three years. Only in the fourth year do they drop off.

Sure he can afford to hire a driver, so he won't be unduly inconvenienced by this!

Not Mad Kev as well. Yet another Man City rebel. Standby for tenuous sports hacks link. Robinho, Richards, SWP, Dunne all showing the world what set of ne'er do wells we have on board!!!
Johnny Baguette
I am sure the words Man City will appear somewhere in the articles about this but surely nobody in the press in their right mind will associate this with present problems .... oooops did I say right mind and press in the same sentence!!!!
Doody
You did indeed use those words in the same sentence Doody! Believe that's known as an oxymoron. Surprised they haven't made the link to that ne'r do-well Didi Hamann, he received a driving ban last season for mysteriously scrapping his Porche and then running off home so no one could check his blood alcohol levels! I suppose that was before we became the RCITW, and liddle ciddy didn't matter then.
