England v Spain Match Day Thread

In an unusual attempt to drum up some enthusiasm for an England international friendly, Vital Manchester City has decided to run a Match Day thread special.

With Joe Hart, Wayne Bridge and Shaun Wright-Phillips named in Capello's squad, City fans might want to keep half an eye on proceedings.

Kick-off 9pm.

England who? I know we have three players in the squad but find it difficult to get excited because A) it's a friendly, albeit against class opponents, and B) there are too many united players in the squad - they may be good players, but I don't like watching them!

I just cant get interested in friendlies at this time of year.......a waste of time.....leads to unnecessary injuries......most of the squad are already playing enough games at this time of year as it is......

Can't stand watching Ferdinand. Or Beckham. Or any rags/associated rags. Or JT. Or Lampard. Someone once remarked that 'Lamps' always looks like he's playing in a suit. Or Neville. Especially Neville. Grrrrr............I'm cross now.............

Spain showed England how to play football last night. Pity we don't learn from these sort of defeats. Back to the drawing board Mr Capello.

Spot on Tudor we are supposed to learn from them but never seem to, I think they are just time wasters for all the good we get from them.
