Kaka Deal Might Just Materialise

Google language translator

Within the last 12 hours, Vital Manchester City has heard that the Kaka deal might just materialise.

Man City Chief Executive, Garry Cook and his advisors were perilously close to signing the AC Milan forward, however, after intense negotiations with his father and his trusted advisors, the reported £108million deal feel through - even though the Italian club were prepared to sell the Brazilian for the said fee.

Rumours within the British and Italian press suggest the deal was put off during the January transfer window, simply because the 26-year-old wanted to see out the rest of the 2008/09 season with the Italian giants.

City ace Robinho is in daily contact with his soul mate from South America and should he get his way, Kaka will become a Manchester City player well before the new season begins.

Do you believe?

Well, do you and has the fat lady sung. I thought so.

I still maintain that the Kaka deal was just one big media trip for Berlusconi. If we try to sign him again all we do is rejoin the circus and let him take us for another ride. If we try to sign Kaka, I think the only way we can actually be successful is if Kaka himself is pushing it through.

Milan want to sell as they are in heavy debt and last seasons super signings were "has-bins" shevenko, ronaldinho and zambrotta. And on-loan beckham. Apart from pato kaka the team are near retirement. Berlusconi used the kaka situation as a polictical tool. Milan wanted to sell?!?!? Cook messed up, kaka didnt really want to during the season. Milan wont win serie-a and kaka might be sacrified to fund team rebuilding. Milan would rather sell to city than to immediate rival (real madrid, inter, utd etc) ADUG will also take matters even more seriously and perhaps removing cook from negotiations (or his job in the summer) I think kaka would only come if city finish in the uefa cup, commited to pushing for champions league place, big name players are signed and a world respected manager is in place. I wouldnt put money on it. Im 90% sure henry will be at eastlands in the summer.

Since spinning a big upsurge in his popularity with the Milanese Berlusconi's been crapping himself over upsetting the Sheikh, hence his post Kakagate crawly bumlick. Just bring them in the UEFA Cup and we'll rub his, Goofy and Beckham's noses in it.

As much as I want the best players playing in Blue I'm really worried we'll lose some of the clubs soul if we just parachute proven world stars in. There would be far more satisfaction in seeing us buy young hungry players and building a team for the long-term future although I appreciate this isn't likely to happen.

Let Milan come to us if they want to sell but let us dictate the price this time, maybe 30m!!!

its a nice thought, but not sure we will see kaka in a citeh shirt anytime soon, but you never know...

Never say never............ but would be concerned if it turned into the type of media circus that came with the bid in Jan. Would tend to sway towards a move elswhere in the market come the summer.... once bitten!

It will turn us into a bigger circus than present and mark my words, we can buy all the world class stars in the world but we'll still go out of the League cup in the 2nd round. And the FA cup in the third. 'Tis written in our DNA and sadly it is one of the things that make us 'special'.

We could always offer them 25million and a couple of fringe players like Vass! They might even be silly enough to give Danny Sturridge 75k per week. No, on second thoughts, they only go for players over 30 so won't have any thing to do with danny!

Our owners are very proud people and the way the Kaka deal was lambasted in the media and the subsequent 'laughing stocks' reports, I think they must have been very hurt. They will go back for Kaka in the summer, if only to save face, but we and the press will not hear anything this time until he signs on the dotted line.
