'If It's Football, It's Vital'

UEFA Cup Build Up: FCK Coach Fires The First Shot

Google language translator

In an ill informed outburst that underlines just how far reaching the British hacks Anti City campaign has become, FCK coach Stale Solbakken jumps on the 'ruining football bandwaggon...

It's something we are going to have to get used to and something Mark Hughes must start to channel into his team by means of motivating the unmotivated.

Yet another upcoming rival coach has stepped forward to slag off the club and it's high time City started trying to raise their game to silence some of their fiercest critics.

The FC Copenhagen coach told the 'Ekstra-Bladet:'

'The amounts of money that have been mentioned are incredible.

'I think that such incredible sums will take part in destroying football.

'They are creating too big a mental distance between what we call reality and then Manchester City.

'The hardest part for City is that they, by tradition, are not a big football club and therefore all the money in the world does not make a difference for them.

'They brought in Wayne Bridge even though he is only marginally better than what they had already and that says how hard it is to get the best players even though you have lots of money.'

Thus far, the FC Copenhagen coach has yet to be asked by the hacks about his opinions over City's football ruining initiative of reducing the prices of admission to Eastlands next season.

PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO THE CARL RAMSBOTTOM APPEAL:

On 27 November 2008, Carl travelled over to Germany to watch his beloved side play Schalke in the UEFA Cup, however due to a tragic incident at a German train station, Carl suffered life threatening injuries.

Due to this horrendous incident, Carl ended up in a coma for three weeks. He is currently in a rehabilitation unit in Germany while his family remain by his bedside.

The family are hopeful that Carl might be in a position to be repatriated to a rehab unit within the United Kingdom, hopefully sometime in March.

Come on Hughesy. Give him a bit back.

Football has been ruined ever since BSkyB came into the fold. City is the result not the caused of "ruined football". What-his-face at Copenhagen would spend like we are if he could but obviously he can't. Let the football do the talking and keep the thoughts to himself, we've heard it all before.

I don't know why people keep coming out with the same old rubbish, nothing has changed, we are still the same old Citeh as unpredictable as ever. The team that everyone wants to beat and usually does.
alphieblues
A lot of managers and coaches are revving their teams up that bit extra against City by telling them they'll be playing a team brimming with muti millionaire superstars as opposed to one starting with four or five MCFC Academy graduates!

The only way for us to answer our critics is by going out and winning, something we're not doing that often. Until we develop some kind of winning mentality we are going to keep coming unstuck, especially away from home. We're an easy target because we've loads of money and yet we are still (despite how much we might kid ourselves) a very average premiership side. Anyone who doesn't believe me can check the league table, we're where we are on merit, or lack of it. If we can rouse ourselves this Thursday then a spirited win would be the best riposte to the Copenhagen side's coach's comments.

The usual ill informed rubbish, it is almost like everybody is handed a script before the interview.
