'Well, after spending a drunken night with 'doody' at the weekend (metaphorically speaking) of course, we ended up chatting up all night on various threads within the City Forums.'
'Anyway, we ended up on other subjects and basically we were having a good laugh when I realised the two of us were going off topic quite a lot...waffling quite a bit due to my Grolsch intake that night.'
'So whilst still in my alcohol happy state I sent the good man 'Tudor' an email asking if it would be possible to have a section where we could go to, basically to talk about anything when you have had a beer or three, or somewhere we could go and just waffle on about anything that takes your fancy.'
'I thought this would be a great idea, rather than clog the four forms that didn't exactly cater for our needs.'
'In an effort to get the ball rolling, 'Tudor' replied to my request, resulting in a brand new forum, namely, the Drunken Forum.'
'This is open for a trial period only but in essence, I would love some feedback. Is this a good idea or would you prefer a chat room instead.'
Drunken Forum
'One thing I would ask is that nobody goes over the top with swearing or generally giving people abuse, as this is not what it would designed for. Nevertheless, it would allow people to have a laugh on topics that are not covered in the main sections of Vital Manchester City forums.'
'So please keep it clean because I know if everyone plays it the right way we will have a very good addition to what already is a fast growing fantastic community here at Vital Man City.'

Great idea but please remember that being drunk is no excuse for bad spelling/grammer. Thank you.

I think it is a good idea for all the reasons stated. You would need to remind each other to switch to that forum early on if you think it is going to turn into a "rambling chat"
