Exclusive: Vital Man City To Meet SWP

Calling Planet Blue. Johnny B will be at Carrington tomorrow (Wednesday) representing Vital MC as a guest of MCFC and will be interviewing SWP. So give us your questions for our star winger...

The deadline for your questions will be daybreak over Manchester on Wednesday morning.

This is a tremendous opportunity for the worldwide Vital Manchester City community to speak to one of our star players and they don't come much more Blue blooded than Shaun Wright-Phillips!

Vital MC intends to publish the interview next week once the crucial Copenhagen and West Ham United games are out of the way.

Please leave your questions below this article or in the Vital MC forum thread and JB will do the rest!

PLEASE CONTRIBUTE TO THE CARL RAMSBOTTOM APPEAL:

On 27 November 2008, Carl travelled over to Germany to watch his beloved side play Schalke in the UEFA Cup, however due to a tragic incident at a German train station, Carl suffered life threatening injuries.

Due to this horrendous incident, Carl ended up in a coma for three weeks. He is currently in a rehabilitation unit in Germany while his family remain by his bedside.

The family are hopeful that Carl might be in a position to be repatriated to a rehab unit within the United Kingdom, hopefully sometime in March.

If you would like to make a donation, please make cheques payable to P&W MCFCCSA and send it to Ian Ramsbottom. 12 Plant Hill Road Blackley M96NH.

Thank you.

Give it the works Blues. I'll give it my best shot and do my damnedst to get as many of your names in the frame as possible. We apologise for the short notice but this one went down to the wire.

Some of the more "creative" Premiership players try to cheat by diving when there has been no contact from the tackler at all. All City fans know you are "indestructible" Shaun -- but we have also seen some sides trying to kick you off the park. What do you think of players who seem to dive almost as a bad habit? Has diving become an acceptable part of the sport?
Sindbad
Dear Shawn, The genius you have is obvious, and the genes are obviously good too, but is there anything we should know about the diet of a man who seems to be able to successfully run an obstacle marathon every week? What d'you eat/drink? What advice have you had re-long term diet/lifestyle? Does the occasional beer help or hinder? You regularly seem to be able to galvanize the team. When are they going to see the light and make you Captain? roy harper
roy harper
SWP, Do you think you were guven a fair chance at Chelsea and did the fee Chelsea paid have a bearing?
Buzz Lightyear
Excellent input Sindbad and Roy! Keep 'em coming Blues!
Johnny Baguette
Top question, Buzzer.
Johnny Baguette
SWP, can you ever see yourself leaving City? Would you still like to play for Arsenal? You or Beckham, who should play down the right for England? Are you concerned that the money at City mirrors the wealth at Chelsea with the result that having the means to buy whoever we want (within reason) may mean that you become a squad player rather than a first team regular? How has it affected your game knowing (without taking it for granted) that suspensions aside you will almost certainly play each week? What position do you like playing in training 5 a-sides? How much is a pint of milk? That makes loads of questions so jettison six of them and just ask him 'So Sean, how much is a pint of semi skimmed?'
kennyclementstache
One more. Bearing in mind that you recieved a three match ban anyway, with hindsight do you wish you'd kicked Delap harder? Ok, that's it I'm dunne now.
kennyclementstache
JB, I'd like to hear SWPs answer to Kenny's 2nd question. Ok my question to SWP - How close do you think City are to realistically challenging for a top 4 place and which player do you think would make that 'dream' happen sooner?
Barney Daniels
Another question, we've heard a lot in the papers about player unrest because they aren't in the first team every week or the manager's training is too 'tough'. What is training like - does everyone get on?
Barney Daniels
What makes you so passionate on the field ..is it the need to win at anything you do .... is it the club ..... or is it the adoration of the fans.
Doody
Thank you everyone for your valued input. I'll try to get as many questions across in the time we have and ensure everyone get's a say.
Johnny Baguette
What are the major changes you see at City since your return.
Thaibluefan
Who is his best mate at City?
Buzz Lightyear
On a lighter note, what does he think of Stevie Irelands pink Range rover?
Buzz Lightyear
Does he think we can go all the way in the Eufa cup....??
lincolnblue
Dear Shaun,as a life long city fan from ireland i was just wondering, what is your view on the possibility of playing an extra premier leaague game overseas?the fa seems to want to hold the game in such places as america etc.but ireland (as you probably know) has fans of every club in all leagues from league 2 upwards.and thousands of us travel over on a weekley basis to watch our teams.i think that holding the extra premier league game in irealnd would be a win-win.as a big contingent of english fans could get to the game easier instead of having to fly to the states etc.also the so called 'smaller clubs' such as fulham for example have decent followings over here so in my view everyone wins.what do you think? thanks for your time. micheal okeeffe (ps say hi to dunney, shay and stevie for me!!)

JB has arrived at Carrington and as expected, he's bricking it. Hope all goes well mate and good luck. You'll do yourself proud mate.
Tudor
Checking in post interview, Blues! Although it was a busy morning at Carrington with the UEFA Press conference dominating proceedings and time was tight, we were made to be feel very welcome and Shaun comes across as a genuinely nice bloke and a very real star. We'll square things away with the club and aim to get the interview published next week. Thank you to everyone who posted questions. We tried to get in as many as we could and very best wishes to all from Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Johnny Baguette
You're the man JB. Oh, and i've sent you an email personally congratulating you. Cracking stuff.
Tudor
