Hacks Hounding Out Hughes With Klinsmann Claptrap
John Edwards a hack from the Daily Mail has today published an article that beggars belief.
Edwards writes...
Jurgen Klinsmann has emerged as a shock target for Manchester City after being approached by an intermediary about taking over at Eastlands next season.
With pressure mounting on current manager Mark Hughes, City are believed to have started sounding out prospective candidates and have already been linked with Luiz Felipe Scolari, following his recent sacking by Chelsea.
Klinsmann has now been added to the list, following claims that a trusted aide has been contacted to determine whether the Bayern Munich boss would be interested in filling any vacancy at the end of this season...
I have no doubt Edwards will have his sources, but so do we at Vital Manchester City, and I can state that the Klinsmann story is 100% utter claptrap.
Johnny Baguette from Vital MC visited Thursday mornings Carrington press conference and afterwards met a few of the players, including Shaun Wright-Phillips (exclusive interview will be published next week).
From what I've been told there is harmony within the ranks and this Klinsmann nonsense will not make it anyway near the club?
Now can the hacks please stop spiting garbage and concentrate on what you are best at. Can anyone think what that is as I'm struggling?

The Daily Mail has as much sports' credibility as Dennis the Menace's scrapbook. I buy this tabloid simply because their crossword is a standard... They would do better to get the Cryptic Cluesters to write the Sports pages. I ably insist on a re-shuffle; but that's fantasy!

Love the way we're now being linked with managers who are in trouble themselves - Bayern currently in fourth, Scholari sacked etc. . It's almost as if the gutter press want us to fail. Now why would that be do you think? Utter scumbags.

I've stopped reading the tabloid press and instead rely on Mrs KCT's Heat and Nuts magazines to keep me informed of all things PL and (for Mrs KCT) VPL. Don't knock Nuts, it contains informative intown scenarios detailing the best restaurants and cocktail bars and it's article on the new Seat people carrier led me to place an order. Heat is excellent for recipes and keeping tabs on the wags.

I can honestly say I have never seen such a concerte effort to de-stabilise a club as I have seen over the last few months ...shame on you so called press.
