UEFA Cup: Man City v Aalborg Live On ITV4

Thursday night's UEFA Cup game against Danish club Aalborg Bk is to be shown live on ITV4.

With Tottenham and Aston Villa going out in the last round, Manchester City is the sole British representative left in this year's competition.

Inevitably, hopes are riding high that the Eastlands club can make it all the way to Istanbul's Sükrü Saracoglu Stadium on Wednesday 20 May 2009 when, the very last UEFA Cup final will take place.

ITV4's match day programme begins at 7pm.

Not an expert in anything Danish but I read/heard/was told that Aalborg are currently languishing in mid-table. Sound familiar, then read on. Didn't we too do ok against the rags last season? If it had been in the European Cup we'd have knocked them out. Now there's a thort.
