'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Smash and Grab alert

Daniel Sturridge has become the latest addition to the growing list of young City players to attract the attention of other top premiership clubs.

Sturridge 16, joins Micah Richards and Nedum Onuoha in being wanted by a host of 'big' clubs and City can expect some unwelcome attempts at luring them away from Eastlands in the transfer window.

Sturridge has been impressive in the reserves and his performances for the England U17s have also attracted praise.

Chelsea have reportedly offered 1m for him last year and are sure to return with more big bucks.

Psycho faces a real battle in the summer to hang on to his young stars who may be tempted by the prospect of big money moves, although ironically such a move would probably limit their prospects of immediate and regular first team football - do you remember Shaun.... now whatever happened to him?

My advice to the City youngsters - remember SWP .... 'Stay With Pearce!'

SWP showed what happens when you go to Chelsea...you keep the bench warm he should have stayed and developed further.
