Mark Hughes Worst Signing - Tal Ben Haim


According to our front page poll result, Manchester City centre back, Tal Ben Haim is Mark Hughes worst ever purchase.

Ben Haim joined Manchester City on 30 July 2008 for a fee around £5m, becoming only the second first-team signing of new manager Mark Hughes, but after just a mere nine (less than sparkling) City appearances the Israeli international was farmed out on loan until the end of the season with Premier League struggler's, Sunderland.

as much as i dont like TBH he only played 9 games for us all in all and can he really be judged on that? he was fantastic at bolton and its a shame we have wasted £5m on him.

I still think as of right now (don't know if he'll come back and/or get better) Jo has to be classed as the worst signing. 19 million for a sack of spuds.
