20/03/09: UEFA Cup & CL Draw Live & Interactive

The draw for the Champions League and UEFA Cup quarter-finals, semi-finals and final takes place this Friday, 20 March 2009 starting at 11:00am GMT.

Vital Manchester City has embedded the following window for the purpose of allowing me to instantly publish the draw, LIVE.

What does it mean?

I will be able to submit live audio streams, live television pictures, post pictures, submit real-time interactive poll questions... the list is endless. Members and non-registered users will also have the luxury of being able to post a message, in real time.

This sort of technology is new to Vital Manchester City, however if it proves popular, I might consider using it on Sunday when City play Sunderland.

What do I do?

Join us on Friday morning to see what a difference it makes. Testing will begin around 10:00am.

No other site, including Sky, BBC...has anything like it.

Live telly? Does that mean you will be broadcasting the Sunderland match? That would be awesome (although I'm going to have difficulty trying to skive off work on Friday to give this a go, and will be at CoMs on Sunday)! Anything we need to do at our end ie bandwitdth requirements etc.?

If I broadcast the Sunderland match live I would get into deep-poo-poo, however there are other ways!! And no, you won't need anymore bandwidth.
