'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vital MC Man Of The Match Awards: Sunderland

He's back. You can see the renewed belief returning to Micah Richards with every powerful charge he makes down the right wing and every player he flattens...

It's as if the inclusion of Nedum Onuoha and Shay Given at the heart of the City defence have galvanised Richard Dunne and Micah back into form.

If he carries on like this, an international recall can't be far away. In his own words...

'I would be lying if I said that it didn't hurt me when I was dropped from the England side. But my confidence is back again.

'I'm enjoying my football again at right back and I feel like I'm knocking on the door. If I knuckle down, I think I can get back in there.'

Fully deserved - was like the Micha of old. Also Elano ran the midfield for us.

It is good to see MR's confidence returning ,,, one of his best games for a long time.

If Micah keeps playing like this then Hughes is going to have a real selection poser between him and Zabaleta. Guess it's a good thing that Zabaleta is a better right back than Micah!
