Queens Park Rangers co-owner, Flavio Briatore was quoted as saying, 'Money is not the answer. Manchester City is a very good example. They will be lucky to stay in The Premier League.'

In keeping with the context of the original story, the managing director of the Renault Formula One team was talking about the R's finances and that he and his F1 partner Bernie Ecclestone had ruled out big money signings.

Background

In 2007, the 59-year-old Italian and F1 mogul, Bernie Ecclestone saved the Loftus Road club from financial ruin. The clubs debts, estimated to be well into the millions of pounds nearly saw the club fold, however with an immediate cash injection, the Championship side were saved from total oblivion.

Today, QPR are classed as one of the wealthiest clubs outside of the Premier League, especially now they have a third benefactor in Lakshmi Mittal.

Another clown who doesn't have a clue what he is taliking about. If I was a QPR fan I would be very worried about their future. Sounds like another case similar to the Scottish team Hearts.
