City's Limp & The Lame Update

News coming out of Eastlands suggests the treatment room is quickly becoming a thing of the past for many of City's injured.

Daniel Sturridge and Benjani Mwaruwari are expected to be available for Saturday's Premier League clash with Arsenal, while Michael Johnson and Martin Petrov are also thought to be on the verge of making it back well before the season's end.

'They are all coming back at the right time for us.' added Hughes. 'They will introduce an energy and enthusiasm to the squad.'

'We have a number of players coming back now who are itching to get into the side and that can only be a good thing for us.'

However, Hughes does have fitness worries, with Vincent Kompany, Shay Given, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Valeri Bojinov all reported to have developed minor knocks during their various international escapades.

swp should be ok as he didnt get a touch in the england game last night. it leaves you thinking what might have been if we had all these players available all season.

There's never any mention of Danny Mills in these articles. We need him back. The man. The legend. The greatest player to grace the game in many a year. All hail DANNY MILLS!!!

Don't know if I would risk Petrov until he was 10o% fit and a run out in the seconds would be good. Benjani for me is a goner and wont play again for city.
