Vital MC Man Of The Match Awards: Arsenal

If City's slim chance of league European qualification is realised on goal difference then Shay Given will have played his part in protecting City's currently positive record...

Seamus kept the score against Arsenal respectable in another inept away performance where this City side's seeming unwillingness to hassle and chase opponents was never more apparant.

Micah Richards steady improvement continues meanwhile, very often our sole attacking threat.

i find it hard to given anyone any credit for the arsenal game but if i was pushed then it would have had to have been given slightly ahead of elano.

Hughes admitted it after the match. The game plan -- to play for a 0-0 and hope for a sneak goal on the break, fell apart as soon as not only Bridge and Kompany had to leave the field injured. This meant Given was going to be our most important player once again.

Who else could have won it after a performance like that. At least Given saved it from being five or six.
