Robinho: No More Sulks & Wear The Shirt With Pride

Manchester City's record signing, Robinho has realised the Premier League is no pushover. Therefore, in the interests of keeping thousands of us Blues sane, no more sulking and more of this if you please.

Robinho's City stats follow this video clip.

Total Appearances - 25
Starts - 25
Substituted - 9
Total minutes played - 2163
Avg minutes played per start - 86.52
Goals - 11
Avg goal minutes when starting - 17.7
Number of bookings - 1

The above statistics are prior to Thursday night's game against Hamburg.

Please Robinho; help your team-mates out by running back and supporting our defence. Play as a part of the team and not a lone individual. Be proud, you represent Manchester City FC and don't just think of the £160,000 paycheck every week. Wear the shirt with passion and pride - we are City.

IM SORRY BUT WHY SHOULD HE RUN BACK ALL THE TIME AND HELP HIS TEAM MATES? THE LAD IS BEST RUNNING AT THE OTHER ENDS DEFENCE NOT BY HELPING OURS OUT MOST OF THE TIME. how about our defenders and defensive midfielders doing the job they are supposed to be doing like everyones favourite kompany and de jong whos job it is to help the defence? please this is nonsence this and yet again people making a point about robinho rather than look at the real issue of de jong and kompany arnt the real deal as most make out. im not having a go at you tudor mate i just think yet again robinho is being made to be a scapegoat for our managers lack of nouse.

Robinho is a unique attacking player capable of sublime football. To ask him to track back and tackle is absurd. Rather we need him always running into space. Hughes should instruct our midfield and defence to stop blindly hoofing the ball upfield and start passing into the channels for Robinho, SWP and Robinho.

We will see the best of Kompany and de Jong next season when they are playing with better players (at City!). Love the comments on the thread pleading with Robinho to be part of a team. Unbelievable.
