Vital Manchester City regular bluemooner_mcfc sent us the following article.
Love him or loath him but it looks as though Mark Hughes is going to be given time in an attempt to try and turn Manchester City FC's fortunes around.
I don't like this one bit (as most of you will know) but what I do want to say is we have owners who have not acted with the predicted knee jerk reaction and sacked a manger after what I perceive as a poor season.
Previous City Chairman would have no doubt strung Hughes out to dry by now so I say fair play to our owners for sticking with this muppet and for trying to steady what might be described by many as a sinking ship.
In my opinion Mr Hughes needs to set out his stall in plenty of time for next season as it looks as though we've more than likely blown our chance of securing a seventh Premier League position and next seasons Europa League qualification.
ADUG
The gaffer must now feel that he has the backing from ADUG, so perhaps he can now chill out a little and get more out the players rather than making excuses about ' my teams always perform better in the second half of a season'
My View
We fans want it from the very first game MH as you are very lucky to be managing our great club, not only because of our wealth but we let an EX-manyoo player into our fold, therefore, its up to you to take us forward. You have being given a second chance (as I think you would have bought the bullet if we had lost against relegation fodder WBA on Sunday), when other managers would have been shown the door after such a poor season.
We are City.
