'Barcelona were in talks on Monday with Manchester City over the sale of striker Samuel Eto'o for a fee of at least 40 million, smashing the British transfer record.'

* Sell him to the highest bidder.

In January 2009 the Manchester City's owners, Abu Dhabi United Group were prepared to splash out 100 million on Kaka so a mere 40m and 150,000 a week on Eto'o salary is just a mere splash in the ocean.

MCFC deny any approach

Manchester City FC has reportedly said that the club have made no approach and no offer has been made. Well, they would say that wouldn't they.

well judging him on tonight i would say no lol he didnt do himself justice to be fair although i know hes a great player and henry obviously loves playing with him( oooooh matron ding dong) so get henry aswell.

If he comes it'll be against his footballing will. Champions league regular playing in front of 90,000, or the carling cup in front of 40,000? In a short career who would really want to sit in limbo for 3 years waiting for a masterplan to be achieved?
