I have to say up front I am not a fan of boxing, but I was sorry to hear a fellow blue lost.

Not sure what Ricky's alternatives are but please don't take a re-match, if offered. I hope the City team can make Ricky feel a little better, by beating thd Rags this week.

Ricky is fine, of course and needs no sympathy. I'm sure he wouldn't thank anyone for it. He is a great fighter -- but this one was a mismatch. Whether that was about the preparation or something else I don't know. Maybe a boxing expert could enlighten? I heard the other day that Ricky has to lose between three and four STONES to make the weight for fights. he does the impossible just to show up in my book! I loved watching boxing when younger. But I lost all enthusiasm when I saw what it did to Ali. I'm just glad Ricky is okay. He was reported as saying he actually felt better than after twelve rounders he had won.
