Now let me see, what will the Rags put on this year? The old hairdryer Taggart leading a singalong of unintelligible Glasgow drinking songs... A diving "masterclass" from a Portuguese bloke and his boyfriend... squad Rags who have never, ever played in a "coin-dodging" competition... Gary Neville reciting poetry (and did those metatarsals, in ancient times etc)... videos of unsuccessful sponsorship applications from denture and colostomy bag companies... a raffle for a remarkably unsuccessful racehorse, re-named "Getrid" by Mr Alex Ferguson... Mick Hucknall singing "I did it my way" whilst drinking a pint of beer, just because he can...yellow and red card tombola ...
Sindbad
Pick the Vidic or Tosic… Spot the Carrick, a great family game this, as a well-known midfielder dresses up as a woman and hides among the fans until they identify him, with loads of opportunities for the kids to shout “he’s behind you!”… The old Trafford favourite: “Let’s all gang up on the referee”… A special guest rendition of “You Stole My Baby” by Mr Ron “Crooner” Atkinson… Pin the tail on the slowest fullback… and a performance to finish it all off: “It’s My Derby And I’ll Cry if I Want To” by the irrepressible Van Desire and the Red Light Sisters!
Sindbad
Steady on Sindbad you may finish up being offered the job of Entertainment Officer for the scum...
