Wave Goodbye To The Following City Players

Wave Goodbye To The Following City Players

With player contract negotiations the forefront of many, and of course with the summer transfer window just around the corner, here are a few examples of what several of our Vital Manchester City regular forum members think will happen over the next couple of months.

Taxis have been ordered...

Tal Ben-Haim
Dietmar Hamann
Danny Mills
Darius Vassell
Daniel Sturridge
Glauber Berti
Kelvin Etuhu
Benjani Mwaruwari
Michael Ball

Surprisingly, fingers on the speed dial for the taxi are...

Richard Dunne
Micah Richards
Gelson Fernandes
Martin Petrov
Javier Garrido
Elano
Kasper Schmeichel

The following have been given the phone book with the taxi number circled.

Ched Evans
Shaleum Logan

Those in the changing room asked if they want a taxi are...

Michael Johnson
Valeri Bojinov
Felipe Caicedo
Robinho

Others have gone on holiday and we expect to see the following next season.

Craig Bellamy
Shay Given
Joe Hart
Wayne Bridge
Nedum Onuoha
Pablo Zabaleta
Nigel de Jong
Vincent Kompany
Stephen Ireland
Shaun Wright-Phillips

Lot's of rebuilding to do this summer! derry, I like some others put Robbi down as a totally out of the blue departure (in the event he decided to go); No way do any of us want him to leave, but we did speculate that he might want out...

It's difficult to see how any of the "numpty nine" could stay at City. You aren't the weakest link, guys. You have no link whatsoever. Goodbye...

So if all the taxi's arrive, we are left with 'ten' players and two of them are goalkeepers. It's going to be a tough season ahead. . . . . .lol.

Robinho and Bellamy can't play together. Robinho's production went down when Bellamy was brought in and went back up when Bellamy went out injured. Until you re-qualify for Europe you don't need a huge squad. Send Bellamy packing.

I think it will have to be a busy summer in the transfer market, and some of those players that have been ordered a taxi, might not want to get in. If that is the case I suggest they have a word with Stephen ireland and ask his advice what they can do to stay.

We really have a chance to make a statement if we do clear the deadwood and get some solid in form players for the coming season
