Bridge & SWP Named In England's 24-Man Squad

Manchester City's very own Wayne Bridge (28) and Shaun Wright-Phillips (27) have been named in England's 24-man squad.

Fabio Capello's side take on Kazakhstan and Andorra in two crucial World Cup qualifiers beginning on Saturday when the team have to travel thousands of miles to the little known Central Stadium. Kick-off is at 4pm BST. Four days later the squad face Andorra at Wembley Stadium.

Good to see a couple of City players in the squad, but it would help to have more than just two if the club is to reach the objective of breaking into the Top 4. If Hughes can buy Gareth Barry and Joleon Lescott, City would then have as many England internationals as Manyoo.
