Tugay Links Up With Former Boss

Tugay has told the media in his native land, Turkey that he is linking up with his former Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes at Manchester City as a coach!

The 38-year-old stalwart told NTV...

"I made an agreement with Manchester City and will work as a coach."

"To work there will be a huge step for me. When I feel strong enough, then I will begin to work as a technical director."

Welcome to the revolution Tugay.

Welcome aboard Tugay. A pretty good player, let's hope you become an excellent coach at City.

Another great signing. Even as coach!! I'm sure he's got a couple of Cup matches in his old legs?

This is Hughes just softening us up in advance of the jobs for relatives. Seriously, though, Mark -- why not try speaking to a couple of new people; yes it's not a lot, who you don't already know. Great, that's the first step. Then try doing it once a month; you'll be surprised that it's not as difficult as you thought. Try to keep it at once a mointh, and just pleasantries -- until you're absolutely sure you can go to the next level. Wait for it. This is speaking to people you don't know; a bit like before only riskier. Forget that: just think like before. Nothing new, stay focussed. but this time they can't be the newspaper reporters -- they don't count. You've already counted the neighbours and great Aunt Sally. No Maybe an Englishman who you've never met before -- once a day... At your own pace, but remember -- not all of them will agree with you. Be prepared for this. It's all about growing up.

He is technically one of the most gifted football players ever. You have got a good coach there. It is a shame Sam didnt want him. What he cant teach your midfield isnt worth knowing.

If he's halve as good a coach as he was a player then he'll do for me.
