Man City Revolution Continues With Carlos Tevez

According to the media, Manchester United has lost the battle to keep Carlos Tevez, and if Manchester City fans think he'll swap red for blue then you'd be spot-on.

It appears the Argentine striker decided before the end of the season that he would leave Old Trafford and with only a handful of clubs in the world able to match his representatives estimated £25.5 million asking fee, then may I suggest one looks no further than Eastlands.

Already, City has splashed out £12m on Aston Villa's Gareth Barry and with another £25.5m coming out of the estimated £250 million player transfer warchest, then Barry and Tevez are just the beginning of what will go down in City's history books as one which totally revolutionised not only the club, but English football as a whole.

Strong Rumours

Rumours circulating around the Blue half of Manchester suggest the 25-year-old goal scoring machine will become a Citizen before this weekend.

As the saying goes, watch this space.

dannybhoy46
merlin, you obviously missed how badly he wanted to stay at Manure... that's loyalty, he'll respond next derby day with vengence. :)

A think a decision may come as soon as tomorrow. Now that would be something.

Its a done deal. Too many factors are in citys favour and tevez has made suprise moves all his career.

Love Tevez to sign, pretty much expecting Tevez to sign, but let's not count our chickens!

Hey merlin go back to the dictionary .......what he does is offer his services to the highest bidder ....a bit like anybody trying to earn a living....unless you know some players who are not taking a wage.

Are we not all mercenaries? I've just moved job for more money, albeit not quite £90k a week! Barry is a brilliant piece of business, and if nothing else shows that we're being taken seriously. And finally, I can't believe Kaka is off to Madrid for that much money, and those wages... Its the death of football, they're ruining it for everyone... Oh sorry, I forgot, Europes elite are exempt from that sort of criticism!
BitterBlue
Does my box in all this pontificating about mercenaries. So £30 million Camel Gob, £12 million Carrick, £20 million Potato Head etc all went to the "£700 million in debters" for the scenery did they? And don't get me started on Chelski!
