Sheikh Mansour's Midas Touch

Manchester City owner, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan has reportedly made £2 billion in just ten months.

Vital Man City regular, alphieblues sent us the following...

After daring to do what no other investor would attempt and that was to invest £6 billion into Barclays, a bank that was on its last legs and nobody would touch with a barge pole.

The Sheikh had the balls to invest and save the bank from going cap in hand to the government. Now he is reaping the rewards for his courage and enterprise

With business acumen like that his investment in our beloved Club with allits positives leaves me in no doubt that he will, within three years turn us into one of the top clubs in the land. May his Midas touch continue.

Further details can be found at www.telegraph.co.uk

For those of you who don't know, life-long City fan alphieblues, has been suffering from ill health and I know he has spent quite a lot of his time in hospital. From all of us here at VMC we hope you get well soon mate.

Which one is alphieblues aka Vince. Why not have a guess?

There's no doubt Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan is a very shrewd man. I think his acquisition of City will turn out to be a winner too. But of course it takes a bit longer to reap the rewards of Premiership success than investing in the financial sector. He has backed City manager Hughes to the hilt and made a lot of new friends by doing so.
