City Turn Back The Clock With Umbro And Etihad

Saturday 18th July is a date to note for the diary of the more fashion conscious Blue when City's three new crew necked, retro styled Umbro shirts go on sale...

Umbro first designed City's kit in Wilmslow back in 1934 when The Blues won the FA Cup and the new designs have been created with the club's heritage and tradition in mind.

The home kit will be of course Sky Blue with a white 60's style crew necked collar.

The away kit will be black with yellow and gold inserts on the shoulders.

The third kit will be white with the classic City red and black sash. New main City Sponsor's Etihad Airways' emblem will be placed underneath a remastered club crest.

There are some images of the shirts knocking around Planet Blue and from what Vital MC has seen, are sure to go down well with a Blues faithful increasingly impressed with City Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak's determination to respect and uphold City's traditions.
