Manchester City Finally Sign Carlos Tevez

UK based radio station Talk Sport has been reporting all day that the mighty Manchester City has signed Argentine striker, Carlos Tevez.

The 25-year-old whose registration is owned by Kia Joorabchian, has spent the last two seasons on loan at United where he won two Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League.

City have reportedly paid £25.5 million on a five-year deal.

If this is true it is great news ......would like to see confirmation from another source though.
Doody
If it's true, it's a far better signing that Robinho.
RadioactiveD
its simply NOT true as they have pulled the story from there sport news reports in the past hour and half. its this kind of jumping the guns that will make other fans hate us even more.
thfccambs
It's all garbage.. wait till you hear it on the official site! That's the only time I'll believe it!

In a way, I'd quite like to see you chaps sign Tevez just because it's gunna pi§§ the ManUre fans off majorly! The fact of the matter is, ManUre should have busted a gut to keep Tevez instead of poaching Berbatov off of us. Priorities were not in line and they are about to lose one of their best players!

I am with SirT here, they reported last year that the takeover would collapse and we would go into administration,so I would wait for a better source of information before putting the finger up towards Stretford Town and the Swamp.

The "legendary" thfccambs strikes again.... deal is signed and agreed and will be announced after argentinas game on wednesday. Eto or forlan will be next. Im only interested who city sign, i have no interest in other clubs transfer activity - hint! hint!

its in tonights men(9 june) that Tevez AND RSC are being lined up and close to a deal for 40 million combined. Tevez future WILL be decided on thursday WITH the blues in pole position.... no smoke without fire.....
cityman51
There is such an overwhelming amount of rumour about the Tevez bid -- and 99% of it seems to be that he is coming to City. I spoke to a few Manyoo fans today and they were convinced he is a City player. If it wasn't happening I think there would have been a clear denial by one of the parties by now. This will be a fantastic capture by Garry Cook, who is turning into a transfer expert as we speak.

here here sindbad. Not bad for a 'glorified shoe salesman' eh?
severedgein
Actually, he sold football and baseball boots... But yes, after a shaky start he's now showing strong qualities. If he can land Tevez and Eto'o he'll be a hero.
