I have been a Manchester City fan for 24 years, I go home and away matches but I can't help and sometimes think what the moaners will have install for a home match day.
Luke sent us the following...
When I go to an away game I spend 90+ minutes singing my heart out for the lads as do all the other Citizens. I hear the odd disparaging comment now and then but most of the time I hear what I believe is the best away fans in the country.
Last season the away form has been dismal at best but we as always are 100% behind our beloved club. I think next season we will address our away form with the players we are going to bring in over the summer transfer window.
Now for the strange world that is Eastland's!
With one of the best home league records in the league and scoring records one would expect our place to be rocking every week. But no, we have the managers/ pundits on hand to give us a running commentary on their take of events. 'Kick It' 'pass it' 'move'.
Do these people not know anything about football? Do these fans not realise the management staff spend all week with the players telling them what to do and how to approach the game.
I am aware people will say they pay their money so can say what they want. This is true but they do not say it they shout it. I pay my money and I want to watch the match and support my team, not listen to idiots who love the sound of their own voices.
What also startles me is that these people never get behind the team? never have anything positive to say and funnily enough, I never seem to see these at away games?
So my question to the moaners, is why?
Many thanks Luke.
