'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rag Stuffers President In Kaka Transfer Headshaker

Erstwhile City flirter and Berlsuconi spin pawn Kaka's world record transfer from AC Milan to Madrid has suddenly come in for a bit of criticism...

...and it's not City dismissers Michel 'Ridiculous' Platini, Gordon 'Credit crunch' Taylor or Mark 'Obscene' Lawrenson getting all worked up, either.

No, it's the president of our currently second favourite club FC Barcelona who has questioned the massive £60 million er, AC Milan saving transfer fee.

Joan Laporta said today:

'To pay these quantities is exorbitant. It doesn't fit in with the reality of the market and it's too risky. It's distorting it.'

As Real Madrid's dosh splashing new president Florentino Perez threatens to move in on Sir Alex Taggart's thoroughbred, Ladyboy Riverdancer, there's still no word of concern from UEFA over Kaka's world record transfer fee.

While certain hapless buffoons pontificate over exactly how many multi-millions are deemed acceptable as a transfer fee, it seems that many, including some English hacks are buying into Kaka's pisspoor suggestion that he signed for Real Madrid to help out AC Milan. Stunning.

Meanwhile Laporta went on to confirm that liddle old Manchester City are in talks with the Catalan giants over the potential transfer of the brilliant rag nemesis Samuel Eto'o:

'He is number one, the best in his position, and he also has an exceptional character. But it is normal for us to have these talks because he has a year left on his contract.'

No doubt 'The January Men' who so eagerly slated City over their elite club threatening dare to sign Kaka are saving up their 'We're all going to hell in a handcart - Football is dead' hysteria for the possibility of Eto'o stepping out of a taxi on Ashton New Road...

Apparently Barca are now seriously after David Villa. Double standards or what?
